Challenge
The customer faced numerous challenges due to their outdated HR software. Their onboarding process was incredibly time-consuming for new employees. Additionally, the software was not mobile-friendly, which hindered business growth opportunities.
Solution
Zircoo developed custom Fiori-based applications that helped streamline all HR business processes. The newly developed apps were user-friendly and adaptive, making them incredibly intuitive to use for all employees.
Challenge
The customer required a solution for multi-step transactions with traceability and visibility. The existing HR software was too complex and lengthy for training new employees. It was necessary to simplify processes to lower training costs. The solution needed a device-independent interface that could run on both desktop and mobile devices, with the goal of streamlining workflows and making them consistent.
Project Scope
The need for a revamped SAP GUI for the customer’s employees became glaringly evident. The existing system was outdated and cumbersome, leading to prolonged transaction times and considerable ongoing costs. Furthermore, it failed to align with modern efficiency benchmarks, burdening employees with manual and repetitive tasks.
The interface lacked scalability for internal transactions and lacked role-based customization, rendering it impractical for users. Over the span of two years, the project underwent meticulous development primarily leveraging ABAP and SAPUI5 to address these challenges.
Results
Our business process examination aligned with ZFinance principles for cost reduction. Our team designed and integrated new Fiori apps, gradually replacing old solutions for seamless integration. We embraced role-based access, with users now able to access only relevant apps for their roles. Our intuitive apps have streamlined onboarding, data connectivity, and user experience. ZFinance empowers employees to submit preferences for schedule assignments, enabling efficient management. The workflow encompasses five distinct processes based on time data types and calendar periods, streamlining preference assignment. Our Fiori apps have reduced manual transactions and administrative burdens, empowering team members to refocus on value-added tasks and enhancing interface usability.
