Challenge
Our customer’s organization was spun off by their parent company, requiring them to establish a new IT infrastructure and migrate from Oracle and Agile to SAP PLM. Despite the challenges, they remained committed to delivering exceptional products and services to their customers.
Solution
Zircoo partnered with another integrator to migrate all of the company’s processes to SAP. We focused on the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) capabilities and workflow procedures, implementing key quality management processes such as Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR), and deviation management. The solution we delivered exceeded our customer’s expectations and was an important factor in their continued success.

Project Scope:
Core SAP PLM Functions:
Zircoo implemented essential SAP PLM functions, covering key areas such as data management for materials, Bill of Materials (BOM), document management, engineering changes, material classification, and workflow optimization for critical processes.
Quality Management Tickets:
Introduction of Quality Management tickets to streamline quality monitoring processes. This encompassed corrective and preventive action tracking, supplier corrective action requests, deviation tickets allowing for standard deviation in tracked materials, health hazard evaluation, and field actions.
IPS Integration:
Integration of Zircoo’s Integrated Process Solution (IPS) to unify the company’s workflows from start to finish, accommodating unique regulatory requirements while providing end-users with flexibility for real-time changes.
BMAX Integration:
Implementation of the BOM/Material Master Extension & Allocation Tool (BMAX) to automate the migration of materials, setup new Material Master processes, and establish extensions within the new ERP system.
Velox Integration:
Integration of Velox for data extraction from various disparate sources, facilitating seamless migration into the new system.
Cideon Conversion Engine:
Utilization of the Cideon Conversion Engine to convert all paper documentation into PDFs, enabling streamlined approval processes for final documents.
