With a global presence of over 10,000 employees at over 50 locations worldwide, the customer is now a powerhouse in the automotive, commercial, aerospace, marine, rail, and off-road vehicle sectors, as well as in industrial, agricultural, and power-generation applications.
After being acquired by another prominent market player, our client thrives. Their portfolio shines with pride, showcasing over 30 esteemed aftermarket brands, firmly establishing their position as a dominant influence across various sectors worldwide.

Our customer, a well-established international developer, manufacturer, supplier, and seller of automotive spare parts and accessories for a wide range of vehicles, faced the following challenges that demanded strategic solutions:
- Decentralized catalogs: The client’s product catalogs were distributed across regions, hindering the ability to perform strategic sales analysis efficiently. Our client had been managing an antiquated product catalog for the U.S. market within a specific system. Zircoo’s team spearheaded the migration process, seamlessly transferring the client’s catalog onto Adobe Experience Manager. Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) flawlessly managed content, while SAP Hybris Commerce 6.4 powered our e-commerce functionalities. On the frontend, we leveraged Angular.js, Vue.js, Less, and Webpack to ensure a dynamic and responsive user interface.
In terms of backend architecture, we opted for Java coupled with the robust Spring ecosystem, including Spring Core, Spring MVC, and Spring Security, providing a stable foundation. We also employed FlexibleSearch, Groovy, and Ant to enhance flexibility and efficiency. Seamless communication was facilitated through RESTful APIs, and Solr played a pivotal role in search functionality.
